Spirits to Spice Up Your Thanksgiving Cocktail Menu

This Thanksgiving, we're especially thankful for fall-flavored ciders and boozy cocktails, and the spirits that make them happen! An excellent compliment to any turky dinner, mix up these festive cocktails for the perfest addition to the table.

GIN MARE
Gin Mare Rosemary Martini
Ingredients:
2 oz Gin Mare
3/4 oz cranberry rosemary syrup
3/4 oz lime juice
Cranberries (frozen is preferred)
2-3 dashes of orange bitters
Glass: cocktail
Garnish: torched rosemary sprig
Procedure:
Shake all ingredients and strain into martini glass.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Old Harbor Distillery Vodka
4 oz Barritt's Ginger Beer
4 oz hard apple cider
Juice of half a lime
Dash of ground cinnamon
Glass: copper mug
Garnish: apple slices, lime wedge, cinnamon stick
Procedure:
In a cocktail shaker, add ice cubes, hard apple cider, Barritt's Ginger Beer, Old Harbor Distillery Vodka, lime juice, and cinnamon. Shake and pour mixture over crushed ice into copper mug.
PRINCIPE DE LOS APOSTOLES
Apple & Gin Autumn Cocktail
Ingredients:
4 oz Apostles Yerba Mate Gin
4 oz apple cider
1 oz lime juice
Dash of cinnamon
2 oz honey simple syrup
Glass: large copa or red wine
Garnish: thyme sprigs, apple cut into matchsticks
Procedure:
Combine gin, apple cider, lime juice, honey simple syrup, and cinnamon in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until chilled. Strain cocktail to glasses and garnish with sprigs of thyme.
TOWN BRANCH
Cranberry Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
2 oz Town Branch Bourbon
1 orange wedge
3/4 tsp brown sugar
2 tbs canned jellied cranberry sauce
Dash Cherry bitters
Splash club soda
Glass: old fashioned
Garnish: fresh cranberries
Procedure:
In a glass, use a muddler or back of a wooden spoon to mash orange wedge, brown sugar, cranberry suace, and bitters. Fill glass with ice and pour in bourbon and club soda.
WESTERN GRACE
Mulled Wine
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Western Grace Brandy
1 bottle of fruity red wine
2 cups apple cider
1/4 cup honey
1 orange (zested & juiced)
5 whole cloves
4 green cardamom pods
2 cinnamon sticks
1 whole star anise
Glass: ceramic or porcelain mug
Garnish: orange slice and cinnamon sticks
Procedure:
Add wine, cider, honey, orange zest and orange juice to a larger slow cooker. Stir to combine cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, and star anise. Cook on low until warm, 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your slow cooker. Stir in brandy shortly after.
123 TEQUILA
Rosemary Grapefruit Margaritas
Ingredients:
2 oz Uno Tequila
2 sprigs rosemary
1 1/4 oz fresh-squeezed grapefruit juice
1/4 oz fresh-squeeze lime juice
1/2 oz agave nectar
Glass: margarita
Garnish: rosemary, flaky sea salt on rim
Procedure:
Add the rosemary and agave nectar to an empty cocktail shaker (no ice) and muddle until the rosemary becomes fragrant. Add the tequila, grapefruit and lime juices, and ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds and double strain into ice-filled glass.
YOU & YOURS DISTILLERY
Thanksgiving & Tonic
Ingredients:
2 oz Your & Yours London Dry Gin
1 200ml bottle 1724 Tonic
Glass: large copa or red wine
Garnish: orange twist
Procedure:
Fill glass with ice, pour You & Yours London Dry Gin and tonic. Add favorite Thanksgiving fruit (cranberry, small apple pieces, blueberry) and herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme). Stir to combine.
CARDINAL SPIRITS
Pumpkin Spice White Russian
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Cardinal Spirits Pride Vodka
1/2 cup Cardinal Spirits Songbird Coffee Liqueur
1-1/2 cups whole milk
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Glass: old fashioned
Garnish: pumpkin pie spice
Procedure:
Place all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously to combine. Strain into glass filled with ice. Top with extra pumkin pie spice, if desired.
